<p class="MsoNormal">Currently I am organizing an exhibition at the West Wales Schools of The Arts @ colegsirgar tilted Art &amp; Utility. The aim of the exhibition is to bring together visual artists and potters in a mixed show of ceramic plates. Many of the artists and ceramicists have a national or International exhibiting profile I have also included recent graduates from New Designers 2009 and students from the college. The show runs from 4th Nov – Dec 4th. The exhibition for me marks the start of a personal aim to make utilitarian work.</p>

artist &amp; designer is to evoke connection and commitment that exist between<br />
the body and the land. For many of us today the links between the land are<br />
remote and increasingly virtual. For me I see a direct link between the body<br />
and the land, in the case of ‘Ymrwymiad’ specifically connections to Llandudoch<br />
and St.Dogmael.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

The Exhibition will start on the 19th September – 28th October in the Jerwood space 171 Union Street, London SE1 0LN. Then will go to Cheltenham – Glasgow – Bristol – BayArt in Cardiff and Newcastle. The Jerwood Drawing Prize is regarded as the country&#8217;s leading award in drawing.<br />
<img src="http://www.peterbodenham.co.uk/news/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/walkercerddwr2.jpg" alt="walker" /></p>
<p>I have started to produce a series of small images printed onto luggage labels. The prints are boxed framed mounted on a white ground, placed off centre within the frame. The tile of this print is ‘walker’ a recurrent theme within the work. A friend recently quoted “walk and it will be solved” I’m unsure of the literary reference but it rings true. The framed prints are £265 - 1/100 including postage. e-mail to place an order.</p>
